Workshops
Our workshops range from 2.5 hours to a full day with a focus on photography and editing. Located around British Columbia, we are able to curate an experience in the field and in Lightroom that will push the edges of your creativity.

The digital darkroom is what we've come to know as Lightroom. Understanding editing can make or break your favourite memory. Our editing workshops range from 2.5 hours to retreat style weekend events.

Where is Field Notes Photography Located?
We are located on Haida Gwaii, British Columbia. Our workshops and retreats are primarily focused in British Columbia and we will look to host events internationally as demand for our services grow. We know that Canada offers a variety of stunning landscape, wildlife and cultural opportunities to capture and explore. We are so grateful to get to invite you to our backyard to feel both inspired and to grow as an artist.
When are your workshops and retreats?
Monthly workshops and retreats will be shared through our newsletter. For more information on our upcoming schedule, please reach out through our Contact Us page. If you also fill out the message form with more details on what you are hoping to learn, we can also set up a call to ensure our workshop or retreat will meet your learning objectives.
Can I use my iphone at the workshop or retreat?
Yes you can! We will be hosting workshops specifically for cellphone photography and editing. You are of course welcome to come to any of our workshops but if you would like something more specific, please let us know and we can ensure you are registered for the workshop that would be of greatest benefit for your artistic journey.
Do you host workshops online?
Yes we do! Editing workshops online are possible and allow us to reach far off places for students and friends to join us from the comfort of their own home. Home in Missoula reflecting on my experience in Bali with an amazing group of enlightened individuals, I had the pleasure to meet the gifted Lucy Sager and she introduced me to a new vision of myself.
