Here, photography expands into writing. Writing into story. And story into imagination.

Last night, I found myself in that same place but not in the ocean. In creation. I was working with AI, writing prompts, shaping images, watching something unfold that I didn’t expect. Somewhere in the process, I stopped trying to control it. I let go. And that’s when everything changed.

In the studio I'll be exploring MidJourney as a creative practice, not to replace the image, but to expand what is possible. A way of working with imagination, composition, and story in new and unexpected ways.


Writing parable in storytelling


Moving beyond documentation into narrative. Using story and parable to hold meaning, memory, and emotion allowing ideas to be felt, not just explained. I'm both surprised and excited to see creative writing and imagination take hold again in this work.
