Haida Gwaii Photography Retreat

September 9–15, 2026


We are honored to invite you into this small, thoughtfully held photographic experience. The following information is designed to provide clarity as you consider your participation and prepare for the journey ahead.


Investment


Single Occupancy: $4,975

Shared Occupancy: $4,300


Shared tents include two beds and are ideal for those registering together or open to being paired with another participant.


All pricing is listed in CAD.


Securing Your Place


Participation is intentionally limited to preserve the intimacy and pacing of the retreat.

To reserve your place, a non-refundable deposit of $2,000 CAD is required at the time of registration.

Your place is considered confirmed once the deposit has been received and your registration form is complete.


Payment Schedule


The remaining balance will be divided into two installments:

Second Payment — $1,750 CAD Due May 15, 2026

Final Balance — Remaining Amount Due July 15, 2026


Payment reminders will be provided in advance of each due date.


If you prefer to pay in full at the time of registration, you are warmly welcome to do so.


What Happens After You Register


Once your place is secured, you will receive a welcome package including:


  • Travel guidance
  • Packing recommendations
  • Preparation notes
  • Suggested arrival timelines
  • Retreat orientation details


You will also receive occasional pre-retreat communications designed to help you begin arriving into the experience well before stepping onto the island.


Cancellation Policy


Due to the small group nature of this retreat and the advance commitments required to operate it, the following cancellation terms apply: Deposits are non-refundable. If you must cancel:

On or before May 15, 2026


Any payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded, less a $250 administrative fee.

Between May 16 and July 15, 2026 50% of the total retreat fee is non-refundable.


After July 15, 2026 The retreat fee is non-refundable.


If We Are Able to Fill Your Space


If your place is filled from the waitlist, we will refund your payments minus the administrative fee.


Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended)


We strongly encourage purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage. Unexpected circumstances do arise, and insurance is the best way to protect your investment.


If the Retreat Must Be Cancelled


In the unlikely event that the retreat must be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, all payments will be fully refunded. However, we cannot be responsible for airfare or other travel expenses.


For this reason, travel insurance is recommended.
